Stuffed pork belly

Ingredients for 4 portions

1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Caraway, ground
1 piece Garlic clove
0.375 l Clear soup
0.5 teaspoon Marjoram, dried
800 g Pork

Ingredients for tde filling

250 g Bread cubes
2 tablespoons Flour
0.5 teaspoon Parsley, finely chopped
2 pieces Eggs
0.25 l Milk
1 pinch Salt

Preparation

  1. First, peel and finely chop the garlic cloves for the stuffed pork belly. Cut a pocket in the pork belly and score the skin. Season the meat with marjoram, caraway, salt, and pepper, and fill the pocket with the garlic.
  2. Knead the bread dumplings with the eggs, milk, flour, salt, pepper, and finely chopped parsley to form a dumpling mixture. Fill the pork belly with it.
  3. Roast the stuffed pork belly at 190 degrees Celsius for about 90 minutes. During this time, baste the meat with broth repeatedly.
  4. Finally, season, slice, and serve.
