Souvlaki in pita filled with tzatziki

Ingredients for 4 portions

600 g Pork
2 Pcs Tomatoes
1 Pcs Onion
4 Pcs Garlic cloves
1 Tbsp Oregano
0.5 Tsp Salt
1 Pinch Pepper

Ingredients for tde yeast dough

500 g Flour, smootd
250 ml Mineral water
80 g Butter
10 g Yeast
0.25 Tsp Salt

Ingredients for tde Tzatziki

1 Shot Lemon juice
1 Cup Sour cream
1 Cup Yogurt
1 Pcs Cucumber
6 Pcs Garlic cloves
0.25 Tsp Salt
1 Pinch Pepper

Preparation

  1. First, for the yeast dough, mix flour, yeast, salt, butter, and mineral water until a firm dough forms and let it rise in a warm place.
  2. Meanwhile, slice onions and tomatoes thinly, cut pork into small pieces, and finely chop garlic. Grate cucumber.
  3. For the tzatziki, mix cucumber with salt and let it sit for a while. Drain the grated cucumber, squeeze out excess liquid, and mix with garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  4. Then roll out the dough and cut out circles with a small bowl. Prick them with a fork and fry in a little hot oil until brown.
  5. Sear pork in a non-stick pan with hot oil, add garlic and season with oregano, salt, and pepper. Place some of it on the finished pita and top with onion and tomato slices, finish with tzatziki and fold together.
