Shingle-roasted meat

Ingredients for 4 portions

800 g Pork loin roast
8 pcs Bell peppers (various colors)
100 g Bacon
100 g Cheese
1 pinch Oregano
2 tbsp Oil
1 pinch Pepper
1 pinch Salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and grease a baking dish with some oil for the “Schindelbraten”.
  2. Cut the lung roast into 2 cm thick slices, season with salt, pepper, and oregano. Heat oil in a pan and briefly fry the meat.
  3. Cut cheese and bacon into thin slices. Wash the bell pepper, remove seeds, and cut in half.
  4. Now, alternately layer meat, bell pepper, cheese, and bacon in a shingle-like pattern in the dish. Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
