Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and grease a baking dish with some oil for the “Schindelbraten”.
- Cut the lung roast into 2 cm thick slices, season with salt, pepper, and oregano. Heat oil in a pan and briefly fry the meat.
- Cut cheese and bacon into thin slices. Wash the bell pepper, remove seeds, and cut in half.
- Now, alternately layer meat, bell pepper, cheese, and bacon in a shingle-like pattern in the dish. Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
