1 | tbsp | Lard |
Preparation
- Peel the garlic and chop it together with the caraway and salt using a rocking knife. Melt the lard, mix it with the chopped spices, and rub the meat all around with it.
- Peel the onion, cut it into eighths, and place it around the meat in a roasting pan. Pour in some water and roast covered in a preheated oven at 150°C for 60 minutes.
- Then continue roasting uncovered for 30 minutes, after which roast the pork roast at 200°C for another 30 minutes until done.
