500 | g | Tomatoes |
4 | pcs | Garlic Cloves |
1 | pcs | Soup Cube |
1 | tbsp | Flour |
1 | tbsp | Oil for frying |
1 | tbsp | Sour cream or Creme fraiche |
1 | Pinch | Pepper |
1 | Pinch | Salt |
Preparation
- Remove any excess fat from the schnitzels, season well with salt and pepper on both sides. Dust one side with flour.
- Wash the peppers and cut them into small strips, finely chop the onion, cut the garlic into small pieces. Pour hot water over the tomatoes, peel and cut them into eighths.
- Sear the schnitzels on both sides in hot oil (floured side first), remove from the pan and roast the onion in the remaining fat.
- Add the peppers, sauté briefly, then add the tomatoes and garlic. Pour in some water, sprinkle in the soup cube, add the schnitzels and let them simmer. Finally, add the cream or creme fraiche, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
