Preparation
- Season the schnitzels vigorously with salt and pepper.
- Whisk an egg and add a splash of milk. Mix the breadcrumbs with the oats. Bread the schnitzels in flour, the egg-milk mixture, and then the breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the schnitzels over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
- While the meat is frying, grate the cheese and dice the cleaned mushrooms. Then top the schnitzels with the mushrooms and cheese, and bake in the oven for five minutes.
