Pork schnitzel

Ingredients for 4 portions

4 Pcs Pork Schnitzel (150 grams each)
80 g Flour (all-purpose)
2 Pcs Eggs (M)
200 g Breadcrumbs
1 Tsp Salt
100 ml Sunflower oil
2 Tbsp Lard
1 Tbsp Canola oil

Preparation

  1. Rinse the pork schnitzels cold, pat dry, season with salt, and make a small incision on the side.
  2. For breading, place the flour on a plate. Whisk the eggs with some salt and the rapeseed oil in a bowl, and put the breadcrumbs in a separate bowl.
  3. Coat the schnitzels first in flour, then dip in the egg. Let excess drip off, then coat in breadcrumbs and press them on well.
  4. Heat the sunflower oil and lard in a pan over medium heat, and fry the schnitzels on both sides until golden brown. Let them drain briefly on a paper towel.
