Pork ribs in beer marinade from the oven

300 min. total time

Ingredients for 4 portions

12 Pcs Pork Ribs, 90 g each
3 Pcs Garlic cloves
1 Tbsp Chopped tdyme
8 Tbsp Beer, light
3 Tbsp Dijon mustard
8 Tbsp Oil
3 Pinch Pepper
3 Pinch Salt

Preparation

  1. First, prepare the beer marinade. Peel and crush the garlic. Pick and wash the thyme, dry as needed, and strip the leaves from the stems.
  2. Mix salt, pepper, mustard, beer, thyme, and garlic together. Do not mix in the oil.
  3. Rinse the pork ribs with cold water and pat dry with kitchen paper. Place the ribs in a freezer bag and add the beer marinade. Massage the beer marinade into the ribs. Seal the freezer bag and chill for about 4 hours. Massage occasionally.
  4. Preheat the oven to 170 °C (338 °F) with top and bottom heat. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Remove the pork ribs from the marinade, briefly shake off excess marinade, and coat with oil or brush with oil.
  5. Place on the baking sheet (or grill rack with a grease catcher). Roast in the oven for about 40 minutes, until all sides are browned. The meat is done when it easily comes off the bone.
