Ingredients for 4 portions
4 | pcs | Pork Schnitzel (150g each) |
1 | tbsp | dried Marjoram |
2 | tbsp | Oil |
600 | g | Onions |
2 | tbsp | Butter |
100 | ml | White wine |
1 | tbsp | Sour cream as needed |
1 | tsp | Cornstarch |
1 | Pinch | Pepper |
1 | Pinch | Salt |
Preparation
- Lightly pound the pork schnitzels, season with salt, pepper, and marjoram. Fry in hot oil for about 3 minutes. Remove the schnitzels and keep warm.
- Peel and thinly slice or dice the onions. Add to the remaining oil in the pan with butter and sauté for about 5 minutes. Add white wine and sour cream, and simmer over low heat for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Thicken the onions with the dissolved cornstarch, season with salt and pepper.
- Arrange the pork schnitzels with the onion sauce on plates and serve garnished with herbs, if desired.
