Mushroom schnitzel with dried mushrooms.

Ingredients for 4 portions

500 g Pork Schnitzel Meat
2 Pieces Onion
20 g Mushrooms (dried)
1 Cup Creme Fraiche
1 Tbsp Mustard
1 Can Pepper Sauce Concentrate 28g
1 Tbsp Butter
250 ml Water
0.5 Tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Oil
300 g Noodles

Preparation

  1. Cook the noodles in a pot of salted water until al dente, then drain in a colander. Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the onion and soak the mushrooms in warm water.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the onion until golden brown over medium heat. Season the meat with salt, then fry on both sides in butter in a second pan over high heat.
  3. Add the fried meat to the onion, season with pepper sauce and mustard, add the mushrooms with soaking water and cook on medium heat for about 30 minutes until tender.
  4. Before serving, remove the meat from the pan, stir in the sour cream, then return the meat to the pan and let it sit for a bit.
