Mushroom schnitzel

Ingredients for 4 portions

4 Pieces Pork Schnitzel
250 g Mushrooms
1 Piece Onion
1 Piece Cloves of Garlic
2 Tbsp Oil
1 Tbsp Butter
60 ml White Wine
0.125 L Beef Brotd
0.125 L Whipping Cream
1 Tsp Salt
1 Pinch Freshly Ground Pepper
1 Tsp Tomato Paste
1 Tbsp Chopped Parsley

Preparation

  1. Place the schnitzels between plastic wrap, gently pound and season with salt and pepper. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Clean and slice the mushrooms.
  2. Sear the schnitzels on both sides in a little hot oil. Reduce heat and cook until done. Remove the schnitzels from the pan and keep warm.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil and butter in the pan drippings. Sauté the onion and garlic, add the mushrooms and tomato paste and sauté.
  4. Deglaze with wine and broth. Pour in the cream, cook the sauce until creamy and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the schnitzels to the sauce and let them simmer for about 2 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
