75 | g | Bacon cubes |
100 | g | Mushrooms |
1 | TL | Cumin |
4 | Stk | Onion |
2 | Stk | Garlic clove |
1 | TL | Marjoram |
4 | Pinch | Salt |

Preparation
- Rub sirloin steaks thinly with mustard. Peel and finely chop onion and garlic. Clean mushrooms and slice thinly.
- Heat clarified butter in a pan, sear sirloin steaks in it on both sides for 4 minutes, then lift out of the pan, wrap in aluminum foil and let rest in the oven at 80°C.
- In the meantime, fry the bacon in the drippings. Add mushrooms, onion and garlic and sauté until translucent. Deglaze with whiskey, season with marjoram, caraway and salt and let reduce gently for 10 minutes, add some water if necessary.
