Preparation
- Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Place the Kaiserfleisch piece in it. Add bay leaf and peppercorns.
- Let simmer in an open pot for about 1.5 hours. Then pierce the meat with a skewer. If this can be done without much resistance, the meat is done.
- Cut the Kaiserfleisch into slices and serve with boiled potatoes.
