horseradish beef

Ingredients for 4 portions

500 g Pork shoulder
2 Pcs Onion
2 Pcs Carrots
0.25 Pcs Celery root
2 Pcs Parsley root
4 Pcs Potatoes
4 Pcs Peppercorns
1 Tsp Vegetable seasoning
1 Shot Vinegar
1 Tsp Salt
1 L Water
6 Tbsp Freshly grated horseradish

Preparation

  1. Clean, wash, and cut the vegetables into fine strips. Bring water with spices to a boil, add the meat and let it cook for 20 minutes. Then add the vegetable strips.
  2. Peel and quarter the potatoes and add them to the meat. Cook everything until done. Slice the meat, place it on plates, cover with the vegetables, grate horseradish on top, and serve with the potatoes.
