Preparation
- First peel the onions and carrots. Quarter the onions and slice into strips, halve the carrots and slice into rounds. Clean and quarter the mushrooms, and dice the bacon into small cubes. Pound the pork and season with steak seasoning.
- Fry the bacon in a non-stick pan, add the onions and let them roast a bit, then add the mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes, turning frequently.
- In another pan, heat the lard and fry the meat on both sides, then add it to the onions.
- Deglaze the pan with water and pour over the meat, season with soup seasoning and mustard. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, then add the carrots and simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Remove the meat from the sauce. Mix flour with some water to thicken the sauce, bring to a boil, then return the meat to the sauce and let it sit for a bit. Then place the meat on plates and cover with the sauce.
