Pork goulash

Ingredients for 2 portions

400 g Pork (shoulder)
150 g Onion
1 Tbsp Lard
2 Tsp Tomato paste
1 Tbsp Paprika powder (spicy)
1 Pc Bay leaf
0.5 Tsp Caraway
0.5 Tsp Marjoram
2 Pc Garlic cloves
1 Pinch Pepper
300 ml Soup
100 g Sour cream
1 Pinch Salt

Preparation

  1. First, cut the washed and cleaned meat into cubes. Peel the onion and garlic, and chop the onion finely.
  2. Heat the lard in a pot, fry the onion until golden brown. Then add the meat and fry until it loses its color. Stir in the tomato paste and paprika, deglaze with broth. Press in the garlic, add spices, and simmer with the lid closed until the meat is tender.
  3. Before serving, remove the bay leaf, stir in the sour cream, and taste again.
