Ingredients for 2 portions
2 | pcs | Pork steaks (200g each) |
100 | g | Mozzarella |
2 | tbsp | Chopped Basil |
1 | tbsp | Chopped Thyme |
1 | tbsp | Chopped Parsley |
2 | pcs | Crushed Garlic cloves |
2 | tbsp | Oil |
30 | g | Butter or Margarine |
1 | Pinch | Pepper |
1 | Pinch | Salt |
Preparation
- Cut the steaks lengthwise to create a pocket. Cut cheese into 5mm thick slices, season with salt and pepper.
- Mix herbs and garlic, coat cheese slices in the mixture and stuff the steaks with it. Secure the opening with toothpicks and fry in hot oil over low heat for about 5 minutes on each side.
- Season the meat with salt and pepper halfway through cooking. Remove steaks from the pan and plate.
- Add butter to the pan drippings, let it foam once, season with salt and pour the sauce over the steaks.
