1 | Can | White beans, drained |
500 | g | Green beans, precooked |
2 | Tbsp | Lard |
2 | Can | Chunky tomatoes |
1 | Tbsp | Salt |
0.5 | Tsp | Ground caraway |
Preparation
- Season the meat well with salt, garlic, and caraway seeds, and fry together with a halved onion in lard. Pour in hot water and place in a preheated oven at 170 degrees.
- After 1 hour of roasting time, turn the meat and roast for about another hour, basting frequently.
- Then add the tomatoes to the roasting juices. Place the green beans on one side next to the meat and the beans on the other side in the juice.
- Roast for about 30 minutes, basting the meat frequently and stirring the beans separately. Slice the meat and serve with the beans and green beans (do not mix).
